Description
After his hand is healed, Jeroboam invites the man of God to come home for a meal and receive a reward. The prophet firmly refuses, declaring that the LORD commanded him not to eat, drink, or return by the same road. He then departs by another way, showing outward obedience and separation from the corrupt worship at Bethel.
