1 Corinthians 12 (vv. 4-11)

Paul's teaching on spiritual gifts is visualized as a diverse community receiving different forms of grace from one source. In a courtyard gathering, one believer speaks wisdom to a small group, another studies and shares knowledge, another prays with bold faith, another tends gently to the sick, another proclaims a prophetic word, and others speak and interpret tongues. Though each person is engaged in a different act of service, all are linked by a single radiant stream of light symbolizing the one Spirit distributing gifts according to his will for the common good.

바울의 성령의 은사에 대한 가르침이 하나의 근원으로부터 다양한 은혜를 받는 공동체의 모습으로 시각화된다. 한 마당에 모인 공동체 안에서 어떤 이는 작은 무리에게 지혜를 말하고, 다른 이는 지식을 나누며, 또 다른 이는 담대한 믿음으로 기도하고, 또 다른 이는 병든 이를 부드럽게 돌본다. 어떤 이는 예언의 말씀을 선포하고, 또 다른 이들은 방언을 말하고 통역한다. 각 사람이 서로 다른 섬김에 참여하고 있지만, 모두는 공동의 유익을 위해 뜻대로 은사를 나누시는 한 성령을 상징하는 하나의 빛나는 광선으로 연결되어 있다.
