The tribal leaders, military commanders, and royal officials step forward one after another with willing hearts, contributing enormous wealth for the house of God. Precious stones are handed over to the temple treasury, and the whole assembly erupts in joy because the gifts are not forced but freely offered. David himself rejoices greatly as he sees the unity and wholehearted devotion of the nation.
