1 Chronicles 29 (vv. 1-5)

King David stands before the full assembly of Israel and declares that Solomon, though young and inexperienced, has been chosen by God for the immense task of building the temple. In full view of the people, David presents the wealth he has prepared: gold, silver, bronze, iron, timber, marble, and precious stones in abundance. He then adds his own personal treasures as an act of devotion, challenging the nation to consecrate themselves willingly to the LORD.
