Description
Wounded and fearing humiliation at the hands of the Philistines, Saul asks his armor-bearer to end his life. When the armor-bearer refuses in terror, Saul takes his own sword and falls upon it. Seeing his master dead, the armor-bearer follows him in death, marking the end of Saul’s house in a moment of despair and finality.
